Tablet Count Kits provide an extremely simple method of analysis for an important range of water parameters. The tests are particularly useful for the routine control of industrial waters such as boiler waters and cooling water systems, as well as swimming pools, natural waters and similar applications.

1.9100 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer

Designed to operate in stand-alone mode or controlled via dedicated software, the Palintest 9100 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer delivers superior technical performance within a compact footprint. Supplied complete with all required accessories, the spectrophotometer is operating and reporting accurate and reliable data within minutes. The Palintest reagent calibration data is automatically loaded either via the software or the program card/PCMA slot. Every Palintest 9100 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is delivered with a full validation ensuring compliance with local standards for GLP. Technical support and training are available either directly from Palintest Ltd or our international network of dedicated distributors.

2.Macro 900 WQS

The Macro 900 Water Quality System is designed for the professional water scientist and provides monitoring for a wide range of key parameters in a comprehensive field kit. The Macro 900 meter is waterproof, simple to use and includes barometric pressure monitoring and GPS location detection. The data storage holds 1000 full sets of results and is downloaded via USB into the provided MacroLink software. Two Macro Accessory Probes (MAPs) are available to provide the monitoring; the MAP 2000 includes sensors/probes for pH, Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP), Dissolved Oxygen (optical method), Conductivity (EC), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Resistivity, Salinity and Seawater Specific Gravity (SSG). The MAP 2100 adds depth measurement to the range of parameters on offer, either standard or differential. Both robust probes can be further enhanced using the range of optional ion selective electrodes (ISE) and optical probes: ISE – ammonia/ammonium (NH3/NH4), nitrate (NO3), calcium (Ca), chloride (Cl), fluoride (F) Optical probes – turbidity (ISO 7027 method), Chlorophyll, Blue Green Algae (Phycocyanin, fresh water), Blue Green Algae (Phycoerythrin, marine water), Rhodamine WT dye, Fluorescein dye, Refined Oils (Hydrocarbons).

3. Molybdate Duo Meter

The Molybdate Duo Meter provides a single meter capable of measuring tracer levels of Molybdate as low as 0.10ppm, with a range of 0.0 to 20.0 ppm and a high range for measuring levels of 0 to 100 ppm as MoO4.
Formulations containing Sodium Molybdate are used as corrosion inhibitors in industrial water treatment. In particular, Molybdate finds application in cooling towers and in closed recirculating systems such as hot water heating and chilled water systems. Molybdates have replaced toxic corrosion inhibitors such as Chromates.
When using Molybdate treatment, it is necessary to control the Molybdate concentration within specified levels depending on the application involved. Molybdates are used extensively for corrosion inhibition and also as a tracer reagent in many boiler and cooling water products. Low levels of Molybdate are mixed in with the products for the determination of product levels in a system i.e. a 1.5 to 2.0 ppm level may indicate 100 ppm of product.
The Molybdate-Duo meter is suitable for bench use in laboratories or for field use by sampling engineers or contractors. The instrument is supplied in a soft carry pouch with a belt loop for maximum portability, or with an optional hard carry case for added convenience. The kit comes complete with test tubes, reagents and full operating instructions.
It is also supplied with a test certificate confirming conformance to calibration standards. Certified check standards are available as an optional extra.

4. Tablet Count Kits

Tablet Count Kits provide an extremely simple method of analysis for an important range of water parameters. The tests are particularly useful for the routine control of industrial waters such as boiler waters and cooling water systems, as well as swimming pools, natural waters and similar applications.
The tests are carried out by taking a measured volume of water and adding tablets one at a time until a prescribed colour change takes place. The result of the test is given by the number of tablets used in relation to the volume of water sample taken. A wide range of test concentrations can be measured by varying the sample size taken of the test.
The tablet count tests may be used a seperate test kits, or combined with the comparator or photometer test kits.
